Current Book of the Month: The Devil in the White City

Author Eric Larsen brings Chicago circa 1893 to vivid life in Devil in the White City. The book intertwines the true tale of two men – the brilliant architect behind the legendary 1893 World’s Fair and the cunning serial killer who used the Fair to lure his victims. Join the discussion in the Library on Friday morning, March 19 at 9:30 a.m. as we search for the hand of God in this nail-biting narrative.       April: The Heavenly Man is the intense dramatic story of how God took a young, half-starved boy from a poor village in China’s Henan Province and used him mightily to preach the gospel despite horrific opposition. This modern-day version of the Book of Acts will be discussed on April 16 at 9:30 a.m. in the Library.
