How I ended up at First Church: The Bishop said I had to come.
The Most Important Thing I Do Around Here Is: What I do is not what is most important to me. What and who I am is what is most important to me as a leader in the church. I am first and foremost a child of God who is called to be in the presence of God and to bear the presence of God to those around me. Thus the most important thing I do is love God my Father , Jesus my Brother, and to enjoy the presence of God with me in the person of the Holy Spirit. Then it isi to serve God through loving the people around me. This love begins in BEING present and listening to others. Thus the things I do are only important as they flow from my being a child of God and from being whom God has made me to be today.

My Vision for First Church: My vision for First Church is that it would be a place where people are connected to Jesus Christ, a place where we love and encourage each other to grow closer to God, and a place where we reach out to our neighbor in the world.
One Way People Can Pray For Me Is: Pray that I would continue daily to grow closer to God - this is the best thing that could happen to any of us.
