PILGRIMAGE TO ISRAEL AND JORDAN
Kent and Joy Kroehler will lead 10 pilgrims to experience the Holy Land beginning on June 22. Visiting Jesus’ birthplace in Bethlehem, his home town of Nazareth, his early ministry headquarters at Capernaum and the city of Jerusalem bring new insight to the events recorded in the Bible. In addition we will meet some of the ‘living stones’ in this special nation: Elias Chacour at the center of Mar Eilas, devoted to promoting peace and reconciliation; Christians worshipping at St. George’s Church in the Jerusalem; our Jewish guide, Bonnie Belken, who presents balanced views of the various religious believers in this Holy Land; Hanney, the Palestinian owner of the Ambassador Hotel where we lodge in Jerusalem.
