Experience this year’s Contemporary Christmas Musical, “Awake, O Sleeper!” and come with us on a journey that explores how the people of God, though seeking deliverance, were sleeping and just waiting for someone or something to show them the way. As the Christmas story reveals, God sent us His Son and in doing so, a great light entered into the darkness of the world … and yet still so many missed it! Darkness still consumes so much of our world today. But Christmas and the message of Jesus calls us to live in the world, share the light, and share the good news of God’s amazing love.
Drawn from Ephesians 5:14, John 9, and the timeless story of how love came down at Christmas, please join us as rich narration, live music, inspired art on canvas, and lyrical movement come together in a one-time presentation that hopes to awaken sleeping souls! “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14).
