First United Methodist Church - Lancaster Pa

     Ms. Marty, Lead Teacher, has been with Discovery Corner Preschool for 14 years and a Sunday School Teacher at First United Methodist Church for 19 years!  Married to her husband, Ken, Ms. Marty has two college-aged children and enjoys living next door to her father.

     Ms. Marty loves teaching the Good News Of God’s love and watching others discover the glory of His creation.

     Ms. Becky, Assistant Teacher, has been with Discovery Corner Preschool for 5 years.  Ms. Becky has always been active in her children’s classrooms at Hempfield School District as well.  Ms. Becky and her husband Bob has three daughters, aged 14, 12 and 9 years.

     Ms. Becky enjoys watching the children master new tasks but her greatest joy is the smile of the children’s faces each day.

     “We make learning fun.  We use a lot of different materials to keep the children interested in classroom activities.” – Ms. Becky

3 Day Program (Mon, Wed & Fri) 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.   $150/month

2 Day Program (Tues, Thur) 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  $100/month

9:00 – 9:15 a.m. – Welcome!  Children unpack for the morning ahead!

9:15 – 10:20 a.m. – Crafts and Center Activities

10:20 – 10:30 a.m. – Clean Up Time

10:30 – 10:40 a.m. – Devotions

10:40 – 11:05 a.m. – Bathroom  Break and Snack

11:05 – 11:25 a.m. – Circle Time with Books, Calendar and Music

11:25 – 11:35 a.m. – Group Time…. Theme Activity

11:35 – 12:10 p.m. – Large Motor Skill Time

12:15 – 12:45 p.m. – Bathroom and Lunch

12:45 – 12:55 p.m. – Puzzles, Books

12:55 – 1:00 p.m. – Nursery Rhymes, Pack up and Farewells!
