Insideout youth ministries

The InsideOut (IO) Youth Ministries theme for 2017-2018 is IDENTITY?!?

Throughout the year there will be focusing on Who is God? Who are we? on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and on retreats.  IO Student Leaders will lead games, give talks, co-lead small groups, and plan events. We are excited for you to be part of our community, join us.  If you have questions about joining the youth group or would like to be part of the volunteer crew, please email the Youth Minister.

Compassion International Child

The youth group has been sponsoring a child since July 20, 2011 through Compassion International.  Her name is Igikundiro Pascaline and she has happily been nicknamed "Iggy".  She lives in Rwanda with her father and mother.  Her father is sometimes employed as a farmer and she has two other siblings.  She was born on March 20, 2006.

Compassion International and our sponsorship allows Iggy to learn, receive nutritious meals and get regular health screenings and medical treatment when necessary.  She also learns about the love of Jesus, receives personal attention and can play with other children in a safe environment.

It only costs $38 a month to sponsor Iggy.  Would you like to sponsor a month to make a difference in this child's life?

Send a check to First United Methodist Church for only $38.  In the memo line, please write - "Iggy- Compassion Child".

Romans 12:1-2

”So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."
